1. Using BoardGameMatcher

BoardGameMatcher is a free service for discovering and tracking board games. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

2. Account responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One account per person — do not create duplicate accounts.
• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse the platform programmatically.
• Post false or misleading content (fake ratings, fake reviews).
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

4. Content you contribute

Ratings, reviews, and lists you create remain yours. By posting them you grant BoardGameMatcher a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Platform connections

BoardGameMatcher can connect to third-party platforms (Board Game Arena, Yucata, Tabletopia, and others) to import your game history.

• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms.
• We access only publicly available data using the platform's public interface.
• If a platform changes its API or blocks access, that feature may stop working without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

BoardGameMatcher is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, missed matches, or interruption of service. The platform is a hobbyist project — we do our best, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be announced via the news section. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
