ZeN

ZeN is a connection game played on a torus, which can be visualized as a board whose edges "wrap" around to the opposite side. As in Quax, players alternate between either placing a stone of their color or connecting two of their stones diagonally. One player attempts to create either a vertical "loop" or a NW-SE "spiral" around the board, while the other aims for a horizontal "loop" or a SW-NE "spiral". Like in many connection games, draws are impossible and exactly one player must win.
