Whirl-a-Word

Whirl-A-Word is a fast-paced word game for two or more players. Compete to make the best word from your set of magnetic letter cubes. The ideal strategy for winning involves quickly forming the highest-valued word from the target group. Setup: Give each player their coloured set of seven letter cubes. Shuffle the word cards and place face down between the players. Grab a pen and paper for scoring. Game Play: A player flips over a word card and rolls the die to select a target word group. Players manipulate their cubes to form any word from that group. TIP: Attempt the make the highest scoring word. Remembering which cube has which letters is very helpful. The first person to make their word yells “STOP!” and records their score. Winning: Repeat the game play until someone hits 100 points. —description from the publisher
