Tol Trarell

User summary トルトラレル (Tol Trarell) has players as Fairy chiefs, collecting Twinkleberries on a magical midsummer's night. The game is for 2 or 3 players, or 4 players in partnership. Played over two rounds, players lay Fairy cards face-down, trying to win Treasure cards one by one. The game is a mix of bluff and bidding, with victory points on both the Treasure cards and the players' cards. The winner of each turn collects the Treasure card and the losers' cards, so some deviousness is required. Some victory points are only unlocked if the player secures a key symbol too. The game itself is language free with English rules offered online but only JP in the box. The rules sheet has deep background on the various Fairy leaders and their activities. There are some Variants included in the game rules.
