📖 About This Game

The Battle of Kawanakajima is about the fourth Kawanakajima battle that took place in 1561, in which Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin clashed in Shinano Province (present day Nagano Prefecture) over territorial expansion. This game is a revival of Shingen vs. Kenshin: Blood bath at Kawanakajima released by Sho Kikaku in 1988 with a modern design. At the beginning of the game, the Takeda army has a small army compared to the Uesugi army, but as the game progresses, the main forces heading towards Mt. Tsumame come to the main battlefield, so the offense and defense are reversed in the first and second half of the game. This new edition also includes new units, rules and variants. Both the old and new versions are included.
