About

The Battle for Singling was fought on December 6th, 1944. A reduced company of infantry and tanks launched an attack against the town of Singling, France. The Americans believed they were attacking a different town. The town was defended by a battalion of German troops with armor support in the form of Panther tanks and self propelled guns (likely JadgPanzer IVs). The Germans had been fighting non stop and were attempting to recover in the town. The infantry put up a poor defense but the armor fought hard against the American attackers. This scenario set will allow you to play the battle as three distinct scenarios using the Chain of Command rules or using the What a Tanker rules. Each provides unique challenges to the players. The games are intended to be played simultaneously with players from each table choosing from a limited set of support options with the ability of troops to move between tables to support one another. The last five pages are notes on how to model some of the distinctive buildings of Singling including pictures of those buildings taken from Google Maps Streetview. —description from the publisher
