A Pulp Adventure staple, the mad scientist with his gadgets and crazy ideas was too fantastic an archetype not to add to the game. His starting Upgrades let you choose how ‘mad’ you want him to be, as a Gadgeteer inventor, using Fringe Science, or with an endless supply of Master Plans. He also has a Techno-Gadget that can be redirected for different purposes throughout an Adventure, and can be leveled up along with your Hero, using its own mini-Upgrade Tree to unlock the power of Super Science!
