During the night of July 24th 1998, a series of unusual murders occur in Raccoon City: all the bodies show signs of cannibalism. The local authority sends a team of elite policemen to investigate the case. Contact with Team Bravo is lost, so Team Alpha is sent to rescue them and carry on with the mission. But a crashed helicopter and a severed hand on the site leave little hope for their survival.
