REFINERY is a Japanese game for 3 players only (though a 2p expansion / variant was subsequently released). You are the oil king. Today we dig oil, process it into various petroleum products at a refinery, and ship it all over the world. The game ends when someone builds their sixth building or there are no coins left in the stock. By then, it is the victory of the player who has accumulated more wealth than anyone else by building buildings or shipping various petroleum products. Wealth is measured in VP. Eight kinds of products are refined from rainbow-colored crude oil to control the world oil industry! I want to be an oil king. In this cut-throat 3-player petroleum industry game, manage your action selection to collect the most victory points at the end of the game. Balance the supply at your refineries to ensure you can maximize every action, and leverage the random board setup to cash in on the various buildings and factories made available. publisher's summary 各プレイヤーは6つのアクションを駆使し、事業を進めていきます。ただし、このゲームでは全員が同じアクションを行います。すなわち、あなたが選んだアクションをほかの二人も行います。そして、他の二人が選んだアクションを…あなたも、行います。よって、強いアクションを先に行ったほうが良いとは限らないのです。 大切なのは、より自分にとって必要で、他の二人にとって無意味なアクションを選ぶことになります。また、アクションを選択したプレイヤーには特権というおまけがついてきますので、他人に選んでもらうより少しだけ有利になります。 アクションは以下の6つです。アクション同士の並び方やウラ、オモテは遊ぶたびに変わります。ウラとオモテで建物の効果が変わり、その並び方で建物のコストを構成する色や得点が変わる仕組みです。 ・出荷：倉庫にある石油製品をお金と得点に換えます。もっとも効率の良い得点源です。あなただけが出荷したなら、ですが。 ・建設：お金と労働者、倉庫にある石油製品を使って、アクションを強化し得点にもなる建物を建てます。同じ建物は、先に建てた人ほど高得点ですが、後から建てた人ほど安くなります。使い捨ての建物や、得点になるだけの建物もあります。 ・倉庫：製油工場4箇所から1箇所を選び、そこにあるうち、最も数が少ない色のキューブが1色だったならば、その色のキューブすべてを倉庫へ運び込みます。 ・製油：製油工場4箇所から1箇所を選び、そこにあるすべてのキューブを、4箇所に好きに分配します。 ・採掘：公開されている4個１セットの原油のキューブ3セットから、望む1セットをあなたの製油工場1箇所に手に入れます。 ・雇用：建設と採掘の際にいろんな仕事をしてくれる労働者(使い捨て)を手に入れます。 バッグから出てくるキューブの色こそランダムですが、ほかにはランダムな要素はありません。三人専用の、濃密なインタラクションをお楽しみください。 publisher's summary
