In the east-to-west direction it extends from London to Taunton; in the north-to-south direction it extends from Cheltenham to the Isle of Wight, and it features the Severn Tunnel and extends as far into Wales as Cardiff. (It should not be confused with South Sweden, also given the map code SV.)
