📖 About This Game
Pizza On Fire is a bid and bluffing matchbox game from Japan. The two players are competing pizza chefs trying to bake the best pizzas first.
Each player has a hand of ingredient cards numbered 1 to 6 and a Burn card. Three pizza chips are stacked up, valued 11, 13 and 15.
The players take turn placing ingredient cards face-down, trying to reach the exact target value of the top pizza. However, if they get the total exact, they must wait until their next turn to play their Burn card and claim the pizza.
Instead of placing a card, a player can instead challenge the opponent to reveal their total. If it matches the top pizza exactly, the challenger wins the chip. If not, the other player wins the chip.
So players are trying to bluff each other into challenging wrongly, or to not challenge and let them bake the pizza.
The first player to win two of the three pizzas is the winner of the game.
