Papyria: Assur

The Assyrian Empire with its capital Assur had a formative influence on all advanced civilizations along the Euphrates and Tigris rivers shaping and influenting Mesopotamian culture for centuries. The influence of this mighty empire can be seen in the so-called “Assur disks”. Always place new Assur disks diagonally to each other. Each disk you place covers an feature printed on the landscape: be it a mountain, a forest, a sanctuary, an invention, or the course of a river. Place a new disk and immediately receive a score for it. Expansion for Papyria that adds a component with an additional "Assur" scoring when revealing an end-of-game tile.
