Les Naufrageurs

Les naufrageurs is a game inspired by the legends or realities of the island of Oléron based on the looting of wrecked boats, authorized by the king, in bygone days. Shipowners are trying to save their cargo (barrels of different values, kept secret from Naufrageurs until captured, if captured). Shipowners assign barrels to each boat. Les Naufrageurs d'Oléron (land pirates of Oléron) try to make ships beach and capture as much booty as possible. Points are counted once the barrels have been used up. Whoever got the most wins. The game used homemade 3-sided "dice".
