La Bataille de Vimeiro

The battle of Vimeiro on August 21st, 1808 opposed Wellesley's British army to Junot's French army. The British victory at Vimeiro made the French position in Portugal untenable. The Convention of Sintra was signed on 30 August and the French were transported back to France, with full honors. Portugal would be free from the French until March, 1809. La Bataille de Vimiero is not an official Clash of Arms game although it is produced with their approval.
