📖 About This Game
Players take on the role of mountaineers seeking to be the first to reach the top of a mountain.
The game is played in two phases. In the first, players gather equipment by advancing along a track using a dice. Part of the equipment is mandatory for phase 2, while the other part is optional but will provide bonuses for phase 2.
Each player decides individually when he has enough equipment to attempt the climb. He chooses the most appropriate route and advances according to a roll of a dice. Different dices are used depending on the weather. The first player to reach the summit wins the game.
It's largely a game of luck, with sort of a stop-and-go mechanism for the transition from the 1st to the 2nd phase (either start climbing early but with minimal equipment, or spend more time on the 1st phase to get better equipment and climb faster). There's also an element of interaction, which consists of swapping equipment with another player, either in phase 1 (where only duplicate cards can be picked), or in phase 2 (where even another player's single cards can be picked).
