Japanese Civil War: Aizu

日本內戰：會津 ("Japanese Civil War: Aizu") is a 1-2 player strategic level wargame to simulate the Battle of Aizu in late Tokugawa period in Japan. There are 8 rounds in one game. Player commands the Meiji government to conquer the Tokugawa shogunate in kanto region. Imperial Japanese armies may move into the revolt areas and roll the die to attack rebel armies. Be careful, the rebels may ambush you randomly. In the end round, you need to score at least 7 vps by capturing the daimyo of rebel domains and sweep the rebel armies. Japanese Civil War: Aizu is the third game of the Revolt & Conquer series. You can combine Aizu and Hakodate maps together for playing a Boshin War campaign game with 3-4 players. —description from the designer
