Honorowy Obywatel

The Honorowy Obywatel (Honorary Citizen) game describes the preparations before Marshal Józef PiÅ‚sudski's visit to BiaÅ‚ystok. The Chief of State will arrive in the morning of August 21, 1921 and, before receiving the title of Honorary Citizen of BiaÅ‚ystok, will take part in numerous ceremonies. The players try to organize all planned events at the best possible level. The game is played with cards, most of which represent the time of day (morning, midday, or evening) or the place (Main Railway Station, KoÅ›ciuszko Square, Branicki Palace, or the Barracks at Traugutta Street). The organization of each event consists of collecting a set of cards that correspond to its place and time of day: the player who collects the appropriate set gains glory points. Players who haven't had time to help organize the event can also earn Glory Points as long as they collect cards that allow them to participate. The game will be won by the player who has the most glory points at the end - and thus will be the most remembered in the history of BiaÅ‚ystok. -description from designer
