📖 About This Game
Golem Run is a competitive betting and race-fixing game with a trick-taking mechanic. The game is set in the dwarven society of Odrixia, the same world as Justice and Factory 42. Players represent the cheering crowds who are participating in the popular Odrixian pastime of Golem Run.
The game is played over several hands of tricks. The player who wins the trick must move the Golem(s) used to win. Players can choose not to play any cards at all by using the "Wait and Wager" action that allows you to change your bets and not participate in the trick-taking round.
You continue playing tricks until one player runs out of cards and then proceed to score. If the Golems have not reached the finish line, deal a new hand and continue. The game ends when a Golem crosses the finish line, and then there will be final scoring. The player with the highest point total wins.
The Golems race across an obstacle strewn course, built in modular pieces by the players beforehand.
