Gallic Village

Gallic Village is a fast-paced and tactical game of card manipulation and board control, set in a hectic little Gallic village. Players take up roles as village elders, influencing the course of events in their favor by managing ancient stones—menhirs— and carefully choosing when and how to play their cards. In each game, players play action cards that allow them to move, remove, or redistribute menhirs among the village’s four neighborhoods. Every card played stays in front of the player and contributes to the scoring, which depends on the combination of card colors and the distribution of menhirs on the board. With only seven cards played per player, every move counts—and with the ability to shift other players’ cards or upset the balance of the board, each match is dynamic and full of clever twists. Combining elements of area control and card-driven strategy in a compact 15–20 minute format, Gallic Village is perfect for fans of light family games.
