📖 About This Game

激闘 関ヶ原 (Fierce battle at Sekigahara) is a tactical board wargame based on the same system as Yukimura Gaiden, and depicts the Battle of Sekigahara. In addition to the historical scenario depicting the Battle of Sekigahara, the scenarios include Mori Terumoto's troop at Osaka Castle, Tachibana Muneshige and the Otsu Castle siege army, Onogi Kimigo and the Tanabe Castle siege army, and also the Tokugawa Hidetada and Sanada troops fighting at Ueda Castle. A hypothetical scenario is included in which Toyotomi Hideyori's and Mori Terumoto's units participate in the main battle field. In the historical scenario, the Western Army's response, units' defection and participation in the battle are determined in a specified turn. There is also a scenario in which all units of the Western Army participate in the battle. The game has a simple rule of repeating movement, defensive fire, and attack. A fierce battle between large armies from both sides unfolds with a playable game system.
