📖 About This Game
Dot and Dash: Over and Out is a competitive card game where players take on the roles of radio operators communicating with Dot the frog and Dash the tortoise, racing to send the strongest signals using melds of cards that match Morse code patterns.
Each round, players are dealt a hand of 8 cards and a 4–6 letter word is chosen as the target transmission. For each letter in the word, players must construct melds (combinations of cards like sets, runs, or assortments) that match the Morse code pattern for that letter—â for dots and ⬠for dashes. The strongest meld that matches the morse code letter earns a point.
Gameplay continues letter by letter through the word, with players refreshing their hands and competing for each point. After three full words are played, the player with the most points wins—unless there’s a tie, in which case it’s one last signal showdown.
With its mix of tactical meld-building, signal interpretation, and forward planning and charming character flair, Dot and Dash: Over and Out delivers a unique blend of logic and rivalry in every round.
