📖 About This Game
A set of wargames rules for the period of armed exploration and imperial conquest in Africa in between about 1870 and 1899. These are an 'upscaled' version of Chris Peers' earlier In the Heart of Africa rules, now using figures mounted on multiple figure bases rather than individually mounted. This means that larger scale actions can be fought, such as the Zulu War and the Sudan campaigns.
The rules are pretty straightforward, and include variable movement rates, alternate moves by unit, disorder markers, and straightforward shooting and melee rules.
Five scenarios are also included.
