Chiclana-Barrosa 1811

A Battalion-Regiment simulation of the Napoleonic Battle of Chiclana-Barrosa in Southern Spain, March 11, 1811. It uses the Sombra del Águila (Shadow of the Eagle) system. In early 1811, Marshall Soult left Andalusia to support Massena's invasion of Portugal. The Allied command took the opportunity to attack the French forces besieging Cádiz. The expeditionary force achieved a tactical victory, but failed to relieve the siege of the city, that would go on until August 1812.
