Character Pack 4: Hired Hands & Helping Henchmen – A Character Expansion for Five Leagues from the Borderlands

Character Pack 4 for Five Leagues deviates a bit from the standard by offering a new game mechanic: Hired hands. With these rules you can hire on helpers such as a blacksmith, torchbearer or 6 other types. Their purpose is to assist your war band off the field (and occasionally on it), allowing you to form a support staff. You can even attempt to push them into battle in an emergency, but they're likely to demand more pay or even leave on the spot. This pack can be added to any campaign, even if using alternate warbands such as the Dwarf warband. It can be added to an on-going campaign with no issue.
