One player composes a deck of role cards (with some guidance from the rulebook), one for each player plus one. That player passes the deck of cards to the next player around the table who chooses one card before passing the deck along, each player takes one role. The deck comes back to the player who created the deck, they choose one between the remaining two. The leftover card is placed in the middle of the table. After discussing, the players simultaneously vote to eliminate the other team. Each player with two votes against them is eliminated. The winning team is assessed by revealing the surviving roles.
