Cabriole

Cabriole is a medium-weight worker placement, card drafting, and resource management game for 2-4 players aged 14 and up. Playable in 60-90 minutes, the worker placement aspect is queue-based, with a simultaneously strategic and tactical resolution phase that might require players to adjust their plans. The game is set in London during the late 18th century, with players aiming to create the most successful furniture studios by hiring and promoting craftsmen such as carvers, joiners, turners, and upholders; purchasing raw materials such as wood and silk for the best prices; and fulfilling customer orders for different types of furniture. Players will find themselves constantly balancing the need for capital with increasing their studio's prestige throughout the city. The player who has scored the most prestige points at the end of six rounds is the winner.
