BOLTED: A Game of Making Friends

Bolted is a fast-paced puzzle game where players race to assemble a bizarre creature -- or "make friends" -- by piecing together mismatched body part cards. Each piece of art in Bolted is sourced from authentic 19th- and early 20th-century magazines, newspapers, and catalogs -- ready for you to mix, match, and create. The designer is the creator of Wondermark, a comic strip they've been making for over 20 years by assembling vintage illustrations into something new. How to play Each player builds a friend by playing cards onto the creature they’re assembling in front of them. On your turn, add as many body part cards as you want to only one of the torso connections, matching connection colors in order to play each card. Optionally, then discard cards from your hand. Draw back up to 6 cards. When anyone completes their friend (capping/ending all required connection points), other players take 1 more turn and the game ends. How to score Count points shown on your cards, lose points for loose connections, and add points from any end game bonuses won. Most points built the best friend and wins the game.
