📖 About This Game
BLUFFIT is a simple and tense bluffing game in which players compete to score the most points. All players start with a hand of cards numbered 1-10. To set up, reveal random cards equal to the number of players from a separate set of 1-10 cards.
All players play a card from their hand face down, then in turn players either claim one of the available scoring cards or challenge another player who has already claimed a card. In a challenge, both players secretly compare strength cards, with the higher card claiming the scoring card (and the challenger winning ties) and the defeated player getting nothing.
Once all players have acted, unclaimed scoring cards are removed, claimed scoring cards are placed in a player's score pile, and the cards played from hand are shuffled, then revealed as the scoring cards for the next round. After ten rounds, player complete one final round for the cards last played by selecting a card from their score pile; those played cards are removed from the game, claimed cards are added to score piles, then whoever has the largest sum wins.
BLUFFIT includes four optional special cards per player, such as "The Optimistic 1" (which beats a 10 in a challenge) and "The Flipped 5" (which beats 6-10, but loses to 1-4). To use them, replace the regular number in each player's hand with the special card.
