Ancient Realm: Monuments & Misfortunes

Making history isn't always easy. Celebrate your triumphs with grand monuments while managing the misfortunes that plague your growing civilization. This 6-card expansion randomly replaces some of the standard game’s Districts with special Districts featuring Monument and/or Misfortune blocks. Monuments to your civilization can be constructed without any cost and score at the end of the game, or can be covered to gain a free Resource. Misfortunes are negative events that apply when they are in your Realm; you can cover them up to eliminate their effect or suffer through them to score points for your resilience at the end of the game. —description from the publisher
