Against the Iron Ring is an operational simulation portraying events in the Don River Basin area from November to December 1942, capturing a pivotal moment in history – often referred to as the turning point of the Second World War. This game marks the Soviet Red Army’s notable operational triumph over the Wehrmacht. Designed for two players, one commands the Soviet Red Army, while the other directs the German and Romanian forces. The game offers 3 distinct scenarios, each playable independently. Scenarios 1 & 3 (Campaign)start on November 19th, 1942, Scenario 2 starts on December 10th, 1942. Scenario 1 ends on November 27th, 1942.
