📖 About This Game
ãµã³ã«ã³ã¹ã·ã¹ã©ã¤ã (Sankansushisuraido) is a two player game from Japan, where players are trying to combine pieces to complete three sushis, or write words on the board to connect 4 words.
Sushi dishes are actually the combination of ã·ã£ãª (sushi) which is the prepared vinegar rice, and ãã¿ (neta) the different fillings or toppings.
In this game, one players has the sushi parts, the other has the neta parts, and they try to capture the other piece to complete a sushi dish. The first player to get three dishes completed is the winner.
The pieces are slid across the table surface in a square grid pattern, and the player needs to get the sushi next to the neta or the other way round, to combine them.
The pieces and board are made of acrylic, and instead of moving a piece, and player may write a word on the squares of the table, which affects how the pieces move:
ã¤ã¸ã«ã· (Yajirushi) - this lets the pieces change direction.
ã·ã«ã¯ (Shikaku) - this stops the pieces at the square written upon.
As well as controlling the movement of the pieces, this allows a sudden win. Instead of making three dishes, a player can win by connecting a line of four words in their colour in any direction.
