📖 About This Game
ã¢ãããã¬ã¼ã¹ (Anima-no-race) is a game from Japan with animals racing to survive. Each player has a squirrel, a rabbit and a bear to move, and each animal needs its own food (nuts, carrots, fish). Instead of rolling dice, all players choose a tile to show their move, and after revealing players decide which of their three animals to move. The game is designed to balance choices between moving or getting food, and stealing food for victory points by landing on the same space as another animal. The player with the most points at the end is the winner, and the bears receive bonus points as well.
The publisher says:
Squirrels, rabbits, and bears escaped the dried-out forest with only a bit of food. They are trying to reach the paradise called Animanoland where only three animals can live. On their way to escape, they need to get food from other animals in order to survive.
Basically this is sugoroku game but with tiles instead of dice. Players moves 1 of their animal tokens out of 3 each turn with stealing/being stolen their food each other. The first three animals reached to the paradise will get bonus points. The player with the highest points, the total point of the bonus and the food they stole from other animals will win.
