📖 About This Game

ねこのひたい。(Neko no Hitai) is a children's deduction game from Japan. The title means The Cat's Forehead, which is very small, so there isn't much room to hide things there. There are only 12 hiding spaces in the game. In this game, players compete by hiding and searching for fish, and the points earned depend on where the piece was hidden. The 12 number tiles are arranged at random, and everyone get a fish in their colour. All the players look away whist the youngest player starts by hiding their fish under a number. The player searching chooses a tile, and if the fish is there, the hiding player gets the points. Play continues clockwise, with more fish being hidden (a player is out until their fish is found). Alternately, a fish one can be hidden which yields double points. The winner is the player with the most points by the end of the game. user summary
