📖 About This Game
Simino is a tile-laying strategy game for 1 to 4 players. The game challenges players to place domino-like tiles with two colored halves onto a shared board, aiming to strategically position their pieces while disrupting opponents. The goal is to be the first to get rid of all personal tiles, which earns points based on the remaining tiles in opponents' hands. The game includes both competitive and cooperative modes, as well as a solo variant.
During a turn, a player places a tile onto the board, ensuring that at least one color matches an adjacent tile. Tiles can be stacked up to three levels high, introducing penalties for opponents when stacking occurs. Special rules apply to doubles (tiles with identical colors), which can trigger chain placements and additional penalties. The game ends when only one player has tiles left or when all players consecutively pass due to lack of valid moves. Points are calculated based on remaining tiles, and the game continues over multiple rounds until a player reaches 17 points or after 7 rounds.
Additional game modes include team play, a solo puzzle-style variant, and special rule sets where white and black colors modify stacking conditions. These variants add extra layers of strategy and replayability to the game.
