📖 About This Game
The wyrdblight spreads. Its spores seep into forgotten tombs, frost-cloaked mountains, and the roots of sacred groves. Those who touch it are changed forever — some into prophets and witches, others into mad husks crawling with fungus. Entire armies now march beneath wyrded banners, clashing across the shattered world of Archea.
Wyrdblight is a full fantasy supplement for the historical skirmish wargame Sahipkıran: Sword & Shield.
It adds new factions, new rules, and wyrd-haunted magic to your tabletop battles — all while keeping the lean, fast-moving mechanics of the core game.
Inside Wyrdblight you’ll find:
The Archean World: A mythic, Migrations-Period-inspired setting of humans, elves, dwarves, goblins, and orcs — each rooted in unique cultures and regions.
Five Armies of Archea: Complete faction lists with units, stats, and flavour, ready to take the field.
Magic & Witches: A risky, wyrdblight-driven system of spellcasting where power comes at the cost of sanity. Complete faction lists with units, stats, and flavour, ready to take the field.
Wyrded Weapons & Relics: Artefacts of strange aeons, potent but perilous to wield.
Additional Rules: Tactical options like shieldwalls, phalanxes, volleys, and duels.
Scenarios: Six ready-to-play missions to bring the wyrd into your battles.
Why Wyrdblight?
Because it takes the historical heart of Sahipkıran and twists it through the wyrd. This is fantasy seen through a Migrations Period lens: brutal, strange, and unpolished. Your miniatures — whether historical or fantastical — will feel right at home.
Miniature-agnostic: Use any models you already own
Compatible: Fully expandable from Sahipkıran: Sword & Shield.
Creative: Designed for narrative campaigns, wyrd mutations, and endless replay.
Will your warriors master the wyrdblight — or will it master them?
