Wise Man's Stones

In this game, each player has 30 stones and competes for points by capturing the 12 high-scoring (2 points per stone) gems and enemy stones (1 point per stone) initially placed in the center of the board. Players take turns playing one move at a time. Each player can place any number of stones on the board, from 1 to 6 per move. The player can capture gems and enemy stones by jumping over them with the stones placed on the board. The game is based on the system of “Amen,” a 4-player board game invented and released by Tsumura Creation in 2011, and is a fully abstract game for 2 players, but the rules have been modified to make it abstract. The tactical aspect of the game is the timing of when to remove the initial stones that are initially placed in the corners of the player's own team. In order to make the removal of initial stones more effective, the rules have been modified so that stones placed in corners other than your own and the enemy's can be removed and won at any time during the enemy's turn. It is a simple game of placing stones, but it is a game that keeps you on your toes until the very end because of the possibility of a big turnaround at the end. お互いに30個の置き石を持ち、ボード中央に初期配置された12個の高得点（1個2点）の宝石と敵石（1個1点）を捕獲して得点を争うゲームです。 1手づつ交互に手番を行います。手番に出来ることは持ち石をボードに配置すること。1手で1個～6個まで任意の数の 石を置くことができます。置いた石で宝石や敵石を飛び越えると捕獲することができます。 ツムラクリエーションの津村さんが2011年に考案発売した 4人制置き石ボードゲーム「Amen」 のシステムをモチーフに、2人対戦の完全アブストラクトゲームに仕上げていますが、 アブストラクトにするためにかなりルールに手を入れて調整しています。 自陣のコーナーに初期配置するイニシャル石をどのタイミングで取り除くのかが大きな戦術となっています。 またイニシャル石の取り除きをより有効にするたために、自陣と敵陣以外のコーナーに置かれた石は敵の手番の時にいつでも取り除いて獲得できるようにルールを工夫しています。 石を置くだけのシンプルなゲームですが、最後に大逆転が起こり得る可能性があるので最後まで気の抜けないゲームになっています。 —description from the publisher
