📖 About This Game

Will Victoria be Amused is a set of fun rules for the Sudan campaign based on a dice and card mechanism, aimed to bring the fun and suspense back into wargaming. All players are Allied Officers who are attempting to deliver a ‘jolly good show’ and gain promotion at the expense of others, whilst always maintaining a stiff upper lip in the face of danger. The Sudanese will be controlled by a strict regime of charge and kill the enemy. No rallying or fancy tactics are involved, just continuous attacks that keep going for the kill. This regime will soon tell on the Allies, making their mission increasingly difficult and thereby ensuring the players will need to help their fellow officers. But just enough to avoid mission failure, as victory points will only come to those who put on a good show and personally seize the glory. Can your officer be the recipient of the Colonial Medal or even a Victoria Cross? It’s up to you! —description from the publisher
