📖 About This Game

"A unique social deduction game where players must work together to find the dog, but some want to sabotage the search! Can you trust your neighbor?" 8 Character cards 8 Dog cards (each matches the color of one Character card) 56 Search tokens (each has a YES and NO side,7 per Character) 8 Role cards (3 Good Neighbor, 1 Owner, 1 Nosey Neighbor - all allies) (2 Trouble Makers, 1 You Let The Dog Out - all allies) 20 Location cards 8 Suspicion cards 2 False Lead cards Town Map (6 tiles) Aim: The "Good" side all want to locate the dog, while the "Bad" side wants to prevent that. The Good side wins if the dog is located AND the identity of the Nosey Neighbor is not revealed. The Bad side wins if the dog isn't located OR the Nosey Neighbor is revealed. Players take a matching set of: 1 Character card, 1 Dog card, 7 Search tokens. Role cards (specific to number of players) are combined to make a deck (like Werewolf or Saboteur), then dealt out in secret to each player. Town Map is constructed and Location cards are shuffled, then one Location card is pulled in secret and added to the two False Lead cards, all face down. Then, Suspicion cards equal to the number of players are shuffled into the bottom half of the Location deck. All players close their eyes - the Bad allies then open them, look at the secret Location and False Lead cards, and close them again. Repeat for Nosey Neighbor.(again, like Werewolf) Player Turns - either: A) Once per game, look at one of the three face down Location/False Lead cards, then put a Search token by the False Lead or on the location on the map - either YES or NO, truth is NOT required B)Take the top card from the Location deck: -- if it's a Location, put a Search token there, either Yes or No, then place face down in front of you. -- if it's a Suspicion card, look at one face down Location card of any player, then announce what you've seen and put a Search token in that Location, Yes or NO. In either case, truth is NOT required. When the last card from the Location deck is drawn, the search is over and a Neighborhood Meeting takes place: all players observe the Search tokens on the various Locations, and attempt to convince the OWNER who is telling the truth and who is lying. OWNER announces their chosen Location of the dog, then LET THE DOG OUT reveals themself and the actual location of the dog. If OWNER is correct, BAD side gets one guess to identify NOSEY NEIGHBOR, if wrong GOOD side wins. If right, or OWNER picks wrong location BAD side wins.
