Waves of Fortune

A card game for 2-5 players where you compete to collect the most loot points by the end of the game. Play powerful action cards to block opponents, steal treasure and shift the tides in your favour. Quick to learn and endlessly replayable. Each player starts with a hand of 5 cards - 2 loot cards and 3 random cards from the deck. The rest of the cards form a central pile called the standing deck. On their turn a player must take a card from the standing deck then play an action card. The action cards allow the player to steal cards from opponents, take extra cards from the standing deck or change the direction of play. Look out for the blue whale card which lets you block an attack from another player, and beware the swordfish that forces you to discard a loot card! When the standing deck is empty, each player counts up the value of the loot cards in their hand and the player with the most loot wins.
