📖 About This Game

Tournament Tennis is an Australian boardgame first advertised for sale in 1940. The game follows the rules of tennis with a playing board having an image of a Tennis court and players "to and fro" a ball (counter) by throw of a dice. Placement of the ball in an opponents court is determined by the number on the dice and numbered circles in the receivers court. The receiving player then rolls the dice and "returns serve" either along a Yellow line (odd number) or Black line (Even number). If the Yellow or Black line leads the ball out of court then the Server wins the point. If it stays in court then the first player rolls the dice again and continues until someone is out. The game is scored as with actual Tennis with 6 games to a Set with a 3 or 5 Set match. —user summary
