📖 About This Game
Toadgeon ("ÐабземеллÑ") is a two-person card game. At the start, each player chooses a faction. One of you will lead the Heroes and their allies, fighting against the threats in the Toadgeon, while the other will control the Bosses and monsters that inhabit its depths.
During the game, players will explore the rooms of the Toadgeon, play character cards, use the traits and abilities of their creature cards, and make tactical moves to gain an advantage in combat!
Toadgeon consists of over 10 unique rooms, each with special abilities that impact the course of the game.
In the “Old wine cellar” your melee creatures will become even stronger, allowing you to use them more effectively in battles. But be cautious, as your opponent will also gain this bonus!
In the “Large throne room” every action is incredibly important, as this room counts as two! Plan your maneuvers carefully to defeat your opponent and reign over this magnificent place!
However, room abilities are not always helpful. Sometimes they limit players in their options. For example, in the Cramped hallway there won’t be enough space to play a Hero or Boss, so you can only use regular assistants or monsters.
Each faction has asymmetric traits and its own path to victory.
The Heroes succeed through teamwork and collaboration with allies, while the Monsters use tricks and sneaky maneuvers to foil their opponent's plans!
