📖 About This Game
The Last Panzer Victory was a shock to the Russians.
At this very late state of WW2, the assault on Berlin was the main objective and within the grasp of the Red tide.
As this drama played out, the German 4th Pz Army with over 200 tanks (many Pz V and Nashorn) which was largely intact south of the main Red offensive struck from the south into the flank of Polish 1st Tank Corps (over 200 AFV) and elements of the 2nd Polish Army, whose advance was ordered to take Dresden to meet the Americans.
The Russians had thought the Polish troops would have no problems with a defeated German army.
The opposite was true, so much so, the 20th Pz and Herman Goring Pz Divisions demolished the Poles and the Russian 4th Gd Tank Corps had to make a U-turn from their planned advance to prevent the Germans reaching Berlin!
Scale is 1.5 miles/hex, units are company/battalion/regiment.
