The Cabinet

Your nation's political system is being uprooted. The candidate of the Utopian Party catapulted to power with overwhelming support. The newly elected Executive has convinced the Legislature to hand over immense power to an Executive appointed Cabinet. As time has passed, some members of the Cabinet, known as Skeptics, begin to worry about the direction of the nation. It is up to those Skeptics to maneuver in secret to amend Executive sponsored bills to curb their power. If the Skeptics are unsuccessful, the Executive and their group of loyal Majoritarians will demolish democracy as we know it and begin their authoritarian reign. Players are assigned to subcommittees and vote in secret to support or oppose the Executive's agenda. Nearly every round involves a special power that will twist and turn the game.
