📖 About This Game

Sugar Rush is a speed- and memory-based game, where players take on the roles of different desserts. The objective is to remember everyone else's dessert identities and to be the quickest at calling out another player's identity when needed. In Sugar Rush, players start by picking a dessert identity and attempt to remember everyone else's selected dessert identity. Players then take turns opening a card from the main deck, which also consists of desserts. When two players have matching open dessert cards, they are in a duel. The duelling players then try to remember and call out their opponent's dessert identity. The first player to do so correctly wins their opponent's top card and scores it. When the main deck runs out, the game is over. At that point, the player with the most scored cards wins the game. The game can be played with advanced variants where players have once-per-game abilities to exchange their dessert identity with another player or with the unselected identities. Similar to: Anomia - Sugar Rush is a significant twist on Anomia. While Anomia requires players to quickly call out general trivia, Sugar Rush needs players to remember other players' identities and call those out instead.
