Storytime

Storytime is a party game, inspired by all the times when we were younger where we would hear a bedtime story, that rewards creativity, improvisation, and quick thinking to bring players together and create lasting laughs and memories while telling fictional stories. Storytime is a game about telling a story using words on cards, and connecting those cards in a grid-pattern on a game table. Players take turns telling a story using the words on their cards, as well as words on cards already played by other players, to create an ever-changing and dynamic story. Players gain points by connecting their story cards with existing words that have been used by the story. The more existing cards you connect with while telling your story, the more points you can gain. The first player to reach 15 points is the winner. There is light mechanical complexity to Storytime where matching cards of the same color allows a player to draw more cards, as well as gain additional points on their turn. —description from the designer
