📖 About This Game

A handful of long-lost Paleolithic stones have been found deep inside a secret cave. It's believed the enigmatic Æver People used them for a lunar ritual, the rules of which have recently been deciphered by an international team of researchers. Now you, too, can partake in this ancient tradition with this minimalist 18-card wallet game. Build your 4x2 ALTAR using various Stone Cards that you collect during your tasks. Lay a stone only if one of its etched symbols can form an adjacent connection with a stone already on the grid. Each turn, spend allotted Action Points to rearrange your stones as you see fit. Abilities may include shifting, rotating, adding, or discarding altar stones. At the end of a turn, LOOK AROUND by checking the "Configuration Cards" to the Left & Right sides of the draw pile. If the Right card's altar description is currently true, & the Left is false, leave them alone. If they aren't, simply replace them with new cards from the draw pile. During a full moon, these "Left/Right" designation rules are reversed. As time progresses throughout the game, Rotate the Moon Card to its successive phase above your campfire. Repeat this entire phase cycle until game's end. TO WIN: Lay the 8th & final altar stone during a FULL MOON, with proper "Left" & "Right" descriptions in place. If you do so during any other moon phase, or when your configuration designations aren't appropriate, you lose. —description from the designer
