📖 About This Game

During the summer of 1943, across the vast steppes of the Soviet Union, one of the largest and most decisive tank battles in the history took place: the Battle of Kursk. Pitting the armored might of the Third Reich against the mechanized forces of the Red Army, their campaign marked a turning point in World War II. The Eastern Front became a massive proving ground for armored warfare. German tanks like the Panzer IV, Panther, and the feared Tiger I aimed to break through Soviet lines with a powerful blitzkrieg offensive. But the Soviets, relying on their dependable T-34s and newly deployed anti-tank guns, had learned from earlier campaigns and built deep defensive lines, minefields, ambush points, and strategic fortifications. Solitank is a solitaire card game with a two-player variant, in which German and Soviet tanks from World War II face off with the goal of destroying the enemy and conquering territory. You can choose which faction to play as: German or Soviet. Each faction includes three unique AI Commanders, offering different scenarios and increasing levels of difficulty. These six Commanders simulate tactics and provide a scalable challenge Solitank is a Print and Play card game available in two visual styles: a red-and- black version designed for vertical layout, and a full-color version designed for horizontal layout. Players may choose to print either version-or both, if they wish. —description from the designer
