📖 About This Game
Snippsnapper is a new, easy and fun tongue-twisting card game for people of all ages who love the magic of playing cards with family, friends and favourite people. â¨
In its simplest form, Snippsnapper is a card game for between 4-12 people (or as many as you can gather around the table) from 6 years and upwards, where the goal is to collect as many points as possible and at the same time get rid of the cards on your hand first, being alert and following the obstacles of the game, the tongue-twisting magic spell and the numbers and colours of the playing cards.
The players (or “snippsnappers” as we like to call ourselves!), are the real heroes of the game, which is populated by mischievous small monsters who love to make life difficult for you! You have to battle to beat them, while collecting valuable points. The monsters represent danger and can put obstacles in your path during the course of each game, but sometimes give you opportunities!
The only way to capture and neutralise the monsters is to simultaneously say the magic spell correctly, use your cards wisely and be quick off the mark.
When the first player gets rid of all the cards on the hand, the game round finishes and the points are counted (including minus points for any cards left on the others players' hands!).
After five rounds, the player who has collected the most points wins the game and becomes the master of snippsnappers!
There’s fierce competition built into the game and every round is different, based on who can plan their moves best, be quickest and respect the magic spell. Players will make mistakes, it is easy to get confused, you will get frustrated, you will get loud, you will shout (the game really brings out the monster in you!) but more than anything else, everyone will be in a good mood, laugh and enjoy the magical company!
