You and your fellow players are brave Vikings who discover an ancient black box filled with mystical rune stones, powerful rituals, and shiny coins. By laying the rune stones wisely, you can unleash the power of the runes. RUNES The Game is a quick-to-learn and entertaining tile placement and strategy game for 2 to 5 players. Place rune stones beside one another. The more rune symbols match, the more coins you may lay on them. If you place a golden rune stone, you can double the number of coins. And if you form a line or a circle, you can put additional coins on it. Rituals add an unpredictable twist and keep the game full of surprises. For each black ritual stone you place, you draw a ritual card. You can play rituals at any time — even if it’s not your turn. Use rituals to your advantage — or drive your opponents to the brink of game madness. To Win, you’ll need to make the right moves, time your rituals wisely, and have a bit of luck.
