We all have that friend who loves to rank things: top five songs of middle school, top ten superheroes who can't fly, top three snacks after 1 a.m. But what if you had to rank random, seemingly unrelated things? Introducing Rank! — the game of listing and listening, shouting and scoring, and debating things you didn't even know you cared about! It's everyone for themselves in this revealing, fast-paced card game. Play as individuals or play as teams to get more people in on the fun. Each round, one player will be the "Ranker." This player's job will be to rank the things submitted by the other players. The Ranker will select an "adjective" card and decide the direction of the ranking using the included "MOST/LEAST" card. The remaining players will submit a "thing" card from their hands that they each think best matches that category. For instance, if the Ranker chooses "MOST legendary," players might submit "Alexander the Great," "milkshakes" (going for the "dairy" pun!), and "your favorite artist's latest album drop." Which one is actually most legendary? That's for the ranker to decide! After players have submitted their choices, the Ranker will place the cards in an order based on his or her preference (or from LEAST to MOST). Players should try to influence the Ranker as much as they like, but in the end, the Ranker has final say! Players receive points based on where their cards fall in the ranking.
